[RaR] Chapter 3: Confession

When Chu Feng came back with his purchases, Rong Yun had already entered the ward. He quietly push the door open. The ward is very quiet and the lights were bright. It made the room even more colder.

Chu Feng softly put down the things he bought, Rong Yun did not wake up. There are still half in the drip bag, it looks like it just got replace. Rong Yun frowned, its clear that he was not sleeping comfortably. He don't know if its because of a bad dream or his body is uncomfortable. The ward Song Bin arrange is a single room, it's not big but the facilities are complete and the bathroom is also convenient inside. However, there is only one bed so Chu feng can only sleep in the sofa.

Chu Feng turned off the ceiling lights and open the bedside lamp and the light in the room was dark and comfortable. He pulled the curtains and sat on the edge of the bed and look at Rong Yun who is still frowning. He cover him with quilt.

His return did indeed surprise him, but it was also a chance to redeem himself. He can no longer make mistakes like before. He must be prepared for the future not just for him but also for Rong Yun.

Rong Yun is somewhat confuse but after hearing Chu Feng's voice, his consciousness seemed to be awake, he stare at him for two seconds and remember what he did, he grab the quilt and hid inside. It seems that he is very scared of Chu Feng and does not want to see him at all.

Chu Feng quickly grab his hand with a drip needle and whispered, "Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you again."

Being grab by Chu Feng, he struggled even harder and his breathing increased again.

chu Feng was not happy. He patted Rong Yun who was hiding in the quilt and said, "Don't move, you have a needle in your hand and it's going to crook."

It seems that he found a sense of security in the quilt, he did not struggle anymore but Chu Feng still feels that Rong Yun was afraid that grabbed the quilt tightly in his hands.

Chu Feng sighed in his heart. It was his own fault. Even if Rong Yun beat him now, he would not fight back.

Sitting at the edge of the bed, He gently patted Rong Yun and said, You have a needle in your hand so you can't move too much. I'll let you go if you're obedient, all right?"

a moment later, the quilt move and Ch Feng knew that Rong Yun just nodded. He release Rong Yun's hand and place it beside the bed and ask, "Are you hungry?"

Rong Yun didn't say anything and just shrink in the quilt, just like an unprotected cub who suddenly found a protection shell.

Chu Feng look at him hiding from him. He really want to slap his self. he is really the worst for what he did. He didn't want to think how Rong Yun spend the days when he force and violate him.

The quilt slightly tremble. Chu Feng frowned, he's worried if Rong Yun's fever will get higher. "Is it cold?"

Rong Yun still didn't answer him.

Chu Feng thought that if he is trembling because of fever then he must hurry and let the doctor's take a look at him. He didn't care for Rong Yun's resistance and pull the quilt in his hands. There, he saw Rong Yun's face full of tears.

Chu Feng's heart hurts and reach his hands to wipe his tears. But the more he wipes, the more tear's falls.

"I'm sorry." Chu feng stop and said.

Rong Yun did not look at him and lay in the bed and whispered something. His voice is very small, but Chu Feng heard it. he was asking him "Why."

Chu Feng pulled the pillow up and lifted Rong Yun's head and let him lie on it to make him more comfortable. After a moment of silence, he replied, "Rong Yun, I like you."

Rong yun was stunned and also forgot to cry. He look at Chu Feng with tears in his eyes, it seems that he can't believe what he just heard.

Does he like Rong Yun? The answer to this question is very clear in his heart. he did no hate Rong Yun, he don't want to see him sad, he wants to protect and cherish him... but it is not love. Like is like, not love, even if he is too moved and remorse for Rong Yun's feelings for him, but he still can't lie to his feelings. It's not love, at least not now.

He told him this because he also want to find a reasonable reason for what he did to Rong Yun. Last life, because of what he did, it became the trigger to Rong Yun's depressive disorder. He can't let this happen again. He will repay Rong yun with his life, so even if he don't love him, he will not leave Rong Yun. This is his redemption, and he also wants to make Rong Yun have a good life.

"Really... Are you sure?" Rong Yun look at him and is a bit silly.

"Yes, why else would I do that to you?" Chu Feng tried to soften his tone and said, "Sorry, I know I used the worst way to hurt you. I will be responsible. I quarreled with my dad today and got a bad temper, I saw your disheveled appearance and couldn't control myself... I'm sorry..."

Rong yun's emotion's calm down, Chu Feng went to give him a slightly hot towel and wipe his face. The bruises in the corner of his mouth and forehead are unsightly. He put a lighter action and try not to make him feel pain.

After waiting for Rong Yun to finish, he said, "You have a fever so you have to stay at the hospital for two days and we will go back when your fever is gone. You have to eat lighter food so your body will quickly heal. Are you hungry? I bought you porridge, do you want to eat?"

Rong yun shake his head. He don't have an appetite right now.

Chu Feng thought for a minute, Rong Yun didn't eat dinner or anything. If he didn't eat then he will have a stomach ache. He said, "How about eating a little? If you have strength then you will heal faster."

Rong Yun look at his concern and eventually nodded his head.

Chu Feng smiled and lifted him up, the raise the pillow to make him comfortable. He went to the coffee table and took an insulation cup with porridge inside and some sides dish.

Chu Feng and his mother went to the congee store a few times, but he did not had an interest in it. Rong Yun have to eat lighter and nutritiously so Chu Feng thought of this store. It was right in the center of the city, he bought some and ordered a delivery for two days. Although the price of this store is a bit expensive. But the service is better, like this insulation cup, the shop provided it but it also has to be paid.

Pouring the porridge into the small bowl that comes with it. Chu Feng gently mix it with the spoon. The porridge is still hot, so he has to make it warm. He chose the store's signature porridge which was made from a dozen kinds of grains. It is nutritious and delicious.

He waits for the porridge to get a little cooler and fed it to Rong Yun.

Chu Feng smiled and said, "eat."

Rong Yun opened his mouth and ate the porridge.

Chu Feng fed him a porridge and also pick up some side dishes to fed to Rong Yun.
These dishes were very soft, tasteful and very appetizing. After Rong Yun had eaten a bowl of porridge with small dishes, he shook his head and did not want to eat again.

When he saw Rong yun a little tire, he carried the drip bag and went to the bathroom to help Rong yun with his business and gargle his mouth. He lay him down to bed and carefully covered him with a quilt and said,"Sleep, I'll watch you here."

"Okay." Rong Yun look at Chu Feng with a confuse feeling.

He was very embarrass when Chu Feng helped him with his pants. However, he has to finish his physiological needs. He could only blush and face it.

Chu Feng look at him and said, "If you were uncomfortable, tell me."

"Okay." Rong Yun nodded and close his eyes. There are too many things that happened today. He need to digest it.

Chu Feng watch over him. He also finished drinking the rest of the porridge that Rong Yun left. He also didn't eat dinner, in fact he was already hungry. He put the insulation cup on the table. His phone rang and Chu Feng is afraid to wake Rong Yun up who had just fallen asleep. He quickly turned it off and look at the screen, the missed call reminder showed Gui Heng's name.

Chu Feng look at Rong Yun and make sure that he is not awakened by the sound and quietly went out to return the call.
